Other neighborhoods such as Fulton Hill and Union Hill are sometimes associated closely with Church Hill. As one of the oldest neighborhoods of the city, Church Hill is known for it’s numerous historic structures such as Saint Johns Church, home to the famed “Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death” speech by Patrick Henry. Church Hill commands amazing views of both Downtown and the James River as well as many sections south and east of the city, especially from Libby Hill Park or the old WRVA Building. |
